Over 20 years ago, Peter founded Peter Collins & Associates out of a belief and longstanding passion that leaders need expert assistance and grounded advice to be effective, to successfully lead teams through unpredictable and challenging times and also could build cultures that were high performing and ethical.
Peter has worked with the majority of leadership teams in the top 10 ASX companies and teams, including in the US, UK, Europe, South America and Asia.
He was previously a Consultant at McKinsey & Company where he led a new practice dedicated to changing cultures. and worked extensively with BHP, Wesfarmers Insurance, Department of Defence, and the Department of Environment in reponse to the Royal Commission post Black Saturday. He Chaired the ANZ ‘Breakout’ cultural transformation.
Peter was Director of the Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethical Leadership from 2009-2021. He has given over 40 seminars, webinars and lectures in 2020/21 including to Oxford University, HEC Paris and business schools in Frankfurt and Warsaw.
Peter has given advice to organisations about ethics committees as well as investigations into the 'ball tampering' incident in Australian cricket and the falsification of breath tests in the Victoria Police
Peter has a Masters in change leadership from HEC Paris and is currently studying for a Doctoral of Philosophy at University of Oxford. Peter has a Bachelor of Theology, a BA Politics and History (Honours) and has completed the AICD's Company Director's course.
